If you are happy with my works or softwares, and like to support my effort so I can keep coming up with new stuff, here are some of the things you can do. Especially the first one bummed me out, since MM is a big deal, so would appreciate anybody who wishes to put effort in supporting me in that one.

  1. Try out or view the "Dynamic Text Effects" in Flash Exchange [Our Picks] on the Macromedia Exchange site, main ME page. This is more or less a mediocre (yes, matter of opinion) competitor to the PJ/S4 components. Why do I mention it?... wel read the differences with the PJ and Supreme4 components below and try it out (I am not sure if it has a trial though). The level of quality should be more then clear. I am a bit disappointed to see MM picked this one instead of the PJ/S4 components to put in as main [Our Picks]. If you agree and like to support me, Email / contact Macromedia Exchange (I emailed Supriya Srivastava - ssrivast@ macromedia com myself pointing out these differences) and let them know your thoughts.

  2. Submit a testimonial for the software(s) or product(s) you like. Besides getting positive feedback which is very stimulating it also helps me promoting them to other people.

  3. Vote for the components on the Macromedia Exchange site (You need to register / login to vote) . You can find them on

  4. Link to my site or products, or if you find any topics in flash forums where it might be relevant and you wish to add some input into the thread mention me or my products.

  5. For ASTRO or the PJ plugin for Astro, send in any new original Bookmarks you have created. These I can consider to include in future updates, being able to offer more and new effect settings to everybody using the softwares.

The text effects by "Sandey" ("Dynamic Text Effects") do not have

  • A decent graphic custom User Interface
  • Interspacing based on letter pixel width instead of every letter the same
    spacing
  • Advanced parameter options used in scripting of effects (non-tweened
    effects)

Which the PJ & Supreme4 components do offer

Beside that, they lack basic and advanced features which the PJ & Supreme4
components do offer, like

  • Dynamic text input option (from e.g. .php, .asp, .txt, javascript etc)
    including available template for a single php for sidewide usage independent
    of flash path locations.
  • Multiple fonts and colors per single effect
  • Possibility to convert to dynamical AttachMovie usage
  • Use as dynamic mask
  • Option to modify to sequential effect start trigger (when effect done,
    triggers the next)
  • Option to add/convert 5 different start-directions
  • Option to add/convert alignment for multiline text (left/center/right)

Besides those, the PJ and Supreme4 also create advanced visual effects with
use of vector / image shapes. Prices are basically the same. The number of
effects are greater for PJ and Supreme4 collections. The coming version 2
(in progress) of the PJ collection will contain 550+ effect settings (and
Supreme4 a few hundred too). They also will offer even more automation of
above mentioned features. More info and examples of these are available on
